The lifeblood of any membership organization is its members. If you like what we're doing with ISEC and you want to help, we ask you to join ISEC or renew your membership with ISEC.

Membership has benefits for you which depend on the membership level you choose. But an even bigger benefit for you is that your membership fees allow us to pursue the programs which will hasten the day when a Space Elevator will be built.

ISEC is a recognized 501c3 Corporation (EIN # 80-0302896) so all memberships are tax deductible (in the United States) to the fullest extent allowed by law - so Join us and help make the most magnificent engineering project in history a reality!

ISEC offers two types of membership, Individual and Corporate.

Individual MembershipISEC offers standard individual membership in two levels; Student and Professional.
  • New or renewing student membership (open to junior high school, high school and undergraduate college students): $25
  • New or renewing Professional membership (open to everyone): $68

Each new or renewing Student-level member receives the ISEC eNewsletter and the electronic version of any ISEC Space Elevator Publication (CLIMB, Via Ad Astra or ISEC Report).

Each new or renewing Professional-level member receives the ISEC eNewsletter and both the print and electronic versions of any ISEC Publication (CLIMB, Via Ad Astra or ISEC Report).

ISEC offers Premium individual memberships in three levels; Ribbon Rider, Space Elevator Builder and Space Elevator Architect.

  • Ribbon Rider membership: $500
  • Space Elevator Builder membership: $1,000
  • Space Elevator Architect membership: $5,000

Each Premium-level member receives the ISEC eNewsletter and both the print and electronic versions of any ISEC Publication (CLIMB or ISEC Report).

A Ribbon Rider also receives recognition on the ISEC website and in the ISEC Journal / Magazine.

In addition to the recognition, a Space Elevator Builder also receives discounts to the International Space Elevator Conference.

In addition to the recognition and discounts, a Space Elevator Architect also receives autographed papers from Jerome Pearson and Yuri Artsutanov.

 

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is offered in three levels, Small (less than 50 employees), Medium (51-500 employees) and Large (more than 500 employees).

  • Small Corporate Membership: $800
  • Medium Corporate Membership: $2,500
  • Large Corporate Membership: $6,500

Small Corporate membership include the benefits of one Professional, individual membership (the ISEC eNewsletter, this year's ISEC Theme Poster and both print and electronic version of this year's ISEC Journal). Small Corporate benefits also include recognition in the ISEC eNewsletter once per year, an invitation to participate in the yearly ISEC Red Team Study report and one free pass to the International Space Elevator Conference.

Medium Corporate membership includes the benefits of four Professional, individual memberships, recognition in the ISEC eNewsletter for one year, an invitation to participate in the yearly ISEC Report and two free passes to the International Space Elevator Conference.

Large Corporate Membership includes the benefits of ten Professional, individual memberships, recognition in the ISEC eNewsletter for one year and recognition in this year's ISEC Journal / Magazine, an invitation to participate in the yearly ISEC Report and three free passes to the International Space Elevator Conference.

Members who attend the yearly Space Elevator Conference also receive additional benefits.
